The Katie School of Insurance and Financial Services is provided scholarships for students selected to attend the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) conference in Orlando, FL.
Every year this conference offers students the opportunity to network with industry professionals, to attend educational sessions, and to visit exhibitor booths to learn about the latest industry products and services. The scholarships cover registration fees, lodging, transportation, and meals. This year’s event was held April 19 - 23, 2009 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The selected students left Normal on Saturday, April 18 and returned during the evening of Thursday, April 23. Applicants must be 21 years of age.
