Katie School students perform community service in New Orleans at the RIMS Conference.
The Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) hosts an annual conference each spring and scholarships to attend the conference are provided by the Katie School and industry companies.
This is a wonderful opportunity for students to interact with insurance professionals from around the world, to attend educational sessions, to learn about new products and services within the industry, and to hone their networking and business social skills.
Preference is given to students who are active in Gamma Iota Sigma insurance fraternity, have strong academic skills, are pursuing a career in insurance and risk management and are at least 21 years of age. Applicants must complete the RIMS Conference application form by the designated deadline each spring.
