Student Information for Submitting Resume

Students:

To have your resume posted to the Katie Insurance School website, follow these directions:

  1. If you are not a member of Gamma Iota Sigma, there is a $10 charge. You can turn this money into the Katie School office in room 432 of the COB building.
  2. If you decide to include your GPA, it should be the cumulative average at Illinois State University.
  3. The "Work Experience" section is especially important. Be sure to give details about the work you have done in each position listed.
  4. The "Computer Skills" section is also quite important. Be complete, but do not overstate your proficiency with various software.
  5. Do not include information such as age, race, or marital status on your resume.
  6. Look at some of the student resumes here.
  7. Save your resume as a Word Document.
  8. Name the file using your first name and last name (e.g. DebbieBabcock.doc).
  9. E-mail your resume to Debbie Babcock at dababco@ilstu.edu
