Pre-College Component Eligibility Requirements
The Pre-College Component in an academic and skill development program designed to prepare African American, Hispanic, and Native American high school students for success on college and business.
- Current high school sophomore or junior
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA), or "B" equivalent
- Intent to attend a four-year college or university
- Intent to pursue an academic major in the field of business or engineering. This includes, but is not limited to, Accounting Finance, Communications, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Industrial, and Chemical), and Liberal Arts (Psychology, English, or Sociology)
For those sophomores who are accepted, PCC is a two-year development process; for high school juniors who are accepted, it is a one year process. The PCC curriculum is administered during three sessions: spring session (Saturday morning: February through April), summer session (weekday mornings: month of July) and fall sessions (Saturday mornings: September through November).

College Component Eligibility Requirements
INROADS coordinates internship opportunities for high potential African American, Hispanic, and Native American students who satisfy the following criteria:
- Current high school senior planning to attend a four-year college or university; or current college freshman or sophomore attending a four-year college or university.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of "B"
- Minimum 21 composite ACT score (1st semester freshman only)
- Minimum 1000 combined SAT score
- Eligible candidates must plan to pursue or be pursuing an undergraduate degree in the field of business or engineering. This includes, but it not limited to, academic majors such as Accounting, Finance, English, Management, Business, Computer Science, or Engineering.
