For over a decade, the Katie School has conducted industry programs. The three most longstanding programs are the Insurance Executive Forum, held each year in Chicago, the London Market Study Tour Program and the Katie School Golf Classic.
This year’s Executive Forum held at the Union League Club in Chicago attracted over 280 industry leaders who came to hear a panel of senior insurance company executives and risk managers discuss industry market trends, organizational practices leading to profitability, and upcoming challenges facing the industry.
For the tenth year the Katie School delivered a one-week program to executives from London. The program, held partly in Chicago and partly on campus, was taught by a combination of industry presenters and Illinois State University faculty. The annual Katie School Symposium, which matches industry presenters with academic researchers on specific topics, focused on Enterprise Risk Management for Insurance Companies.
The Katie School Golf Classic event helps support scholarships and program enhancements, while providing insurance professionals the opportunity to meet over an engaging game of golf.
