HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE
Each year a group of individual candidates will be selected and inducted in the Hall of Fame. This person would have a record of important accomplishments and contributions to industry and society throughout his or her career. The award may go to ANY person who has made significant contributions to the insurance industry, including company employees, brokers, risk managers, regulators, lawyers, legislators, researchers, educators and consultants. The award may be made posthumously as well. Inductees would have either made a contribution that had a positive impact on the Illinois insurance industry, or have been employed in Illinois for at least five years, and had a significant and favorable impact on society and/or the insurance industry as a whole. The criteria forming the Individual Excellence Award will be considered for this category as well. Excellence Award recipients are eligible to be considered for Hall of Fame status, but are not necessarily inducted into the Hall of Fame automatically.
